You actually get more than you bargained for, as they throw in an extra R188 bearing and dual side cleaning peace should you need it. I tried both bearings, they both spin very well, 2 to 5 minutes. It comes in an indestructible tan plastic case, that’s quite nice.
There are 2 spring flanged clips that come as extra parts. I don’t know what they’re for, they are either replacement Clicker or to hold the loose ball bearings in a different way. But the way it’s presently set up is that the ball bearings at low speed held in a vertical way, make a clattering sound at low speed. When placed horizontal or spun on a table horizontal, the ball bearings make no sound at any speed.
When disassembled (very easy) by removing the retainer ring above the bearing R188, so that the loose ball bearings can be permanently removed. The retainer clip appears to be to prevent the ball bearings from making contact with the center hub and slowing the speed. But this is a very small effect, so I didn’t change it and left it as it originally came.
On one side it has a large brass button, that you can push, which produces a click sound, but has no affect except making a click sound. The small brass button on the other side, does nothing, but it helps greatly when holding it with one of your fingers, while your thumb rest on the big button that clicks. So you could say, it is a spin and click fidget. This design is good for finger placement, giving it very small size.
And the last thing I should say, is that it is again, very small. I still give it five stars and would say it’s worth the $100.00 but not at all for the materials for there just isn’t much material to it, maybe 1 to 3 ounce at best, I could find no info on it’s weight, but the workmanship is very good. It would spin longer if it had more weight.
Update, yes the large clicker button may have an effect when held down while spinning. It seems to change the sound of it without reducing spend time. This is more noticeable when you have it on a table surface and are pressing the button at the same time. So yeah it’s nice to have and can easily be carried in a wallet or purse. Note, the bearing is lubricated and is a sealed bearing so dirt won’t get in.
